39-year-old Israeli among passengers on crashed Germanwings plane

Israel's Foreign Ministry confirmed on Tuesday that an Israeli citizen was on an Airbus operated by Lufthansa's Germanwings budget airline that crashed in a remote area of the French Alps earlier in the day.
The family has been informed, the ministry said. The man, a 39-year-old businessman from Hod HaSharon, was living in Germany and flying back from Barcelona to Duesseldorf when flight 4U went down with 144 passengers and six crew on board.
