The Anti-Defamation League on Monday condemned Rabbi Ovadia Yosef's Saturday comments in which he stated that “Abu Mazen and all these evil people should perish from this world … God should strike them with a plague, them and these Palestinians.”The ADL called Yosef's comments "offensive and incendiary," cautioning that his words contribute to a potentially dangerous environment of intolerance and hatred.”The statement added that the comments were particularly out of place coming on the eve of renewed peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.
