Abbas to meet with Egyptian president to discuss Israeli-Palestinian peace talks

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will meet with Egyptian President Adli Mansour on Saturday in Cairo, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported on Friday.

Abbas and Mansour are expected to discuss the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Barakat al-Farra said.

Abbas will also meet with various Arab foreign ministers to discuss the peace talks, and is expected to tell them the talks are "in serious impasse," former PLO negotiator Muhammad Shtayyeh said on Thursday.
