Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch sent mixed messages on Wednesday about whether the death of a Petah Tikva construction worker, who fell from his work site on September 16, was an accident or a nationalistic murder.

Regardless, Aharonovitch said that it appears to be the case that this was a terror attack, though emphasized that it is up to police and Shin Bet to determine the nature of Arami's death.

Aharonovitch made his statements to the Knesset Interior Committee a few hours after the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court partially lifted a gag order on the investigation into Nathaniel Roi Arami's death, leaving an equally mixed message regarding the incident.
