A rocket fired from Syria exploded in open territory near an Israeli community in the northern Golan Heights on Monday, according to Army Radio.

The rocket reportedly started a fire, but did not cause any injuries.

The IDF would not confirm that a rocket fell, stating that an alert siren had sounded in the Golan Heights and they were still checking the circumstances.
