A 25-year-old Jaffa man was killed in the city Sunday night after he was shot by unknown assailants on Yefet Street, the main thoroughfare of Jaffa.
Tel Aviv police said the man was critically wounded in the shooting and taken to Wolfson Hospital where he died shortly thereafter.
Police from the Yiftach Subdistrict said Sunday night they identified the scene of the shooting and have opened an investigation into the shooting.
