Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Sunday touted Israel's military prowess in an increasingly unstable Middle East.
Speaking at a ceremony for reserve IDF soldiers, Barak said: "In the past two years, the map of the region is changing before our eyes. Nations took to the streets and brought down totalitarian regimes... Israel is living in a Middle East that does not know stability, surrounded by a rushing sea of nations that refuse to accept it."
