Economy Minister Naftali Bennett (Bayit Yehudi) reacted on Monday to the official announcement of a Hamas-Fatah unity government saying that, "Twenty years after the Oslo Accords and nine years after the disengagement," reality has shattered the expectations of those supporting a Palestinian state agenda.

Bennett went on to say that, "The government of terrorists which Hamas and Fatah have established is the same government whose manifesto now contains the calls for death to the Jews who hide behind the trees and the boulders."

"It is an illegitimate government and so the government of Israel has decided not to maintain ties with such a government," said Bennett.
