The number of people living in Jerusalem shrunk slightly to 804,335, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics.
However, those numbers still give Jerusalem roughly twice the number of residents as the next most populous city, Tel Aviv, which grew slightly to 404,750.
Haifa still has the third largest number of residents at 270,348.
The next several spots are filled by Rishon Lezion, Ashdod, Petah Tikva and Beersheba.
