The Cairo Foreign Ministry denied an Israel Radio report on Thursday that Israel had invited Egyptian President Morsi to visit Israel.

Head of the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Alaa al-Hadidi, released a statement Thursday that said Cairo had not received an invitation from the director general of the Foreign Ministry, Rafi Barak, to visit Israel, in spite of reports early Thursday morning from Israel Radio's Arabic correspondent, Simon Warren.
