Carmel Tunnels denies hackers caused roadway shutdown last month

The company operating the Carmel Tunnels in Haifa is denying a report that hackers inserted a bug into their computer system causing the roadway to shut down last month.
Israel Radio quoted sources in the company as saying that the malfunction was caused by a flaw in the control system that had nothing to do with any external factors.
