Construction worker killed during renovations at Ofer Prison

A construction worker was killed on Wednesday at Ofer Prison, during an accident while working on renovations at the facility.
The Israel Prison Service said the victim, a 41-year-old Arab Israeli, was crushed by a crane during the renovation work.
They added that work was halted and they extricated the man and began performing first aid on him, but he died soon after.
The IPS has launched an investigation into the incident.
