The Defense Ministry, with help from the US agency for missile defense, has successfully completed the first successful flight test of a new missile interceptor, "Arrow 3."

The revolutionary "Arrow 3" interception system is among the most advanced missile detection systems in the world, and will allow the government to deal more effectively with future threats to Israel.

Made with components of the Iron Dome missile-defense system, the "Arrow 3" provides additional protection against long-range missile threats.
