Dozens dead in Aleppo after assault on prison

The Syrian army assaulted and gained control of the central prison of Aleppo on Friday, after rebels broke in and released hundreds of prisoners on Thursday, reported Israel Radio.
Casualties from both sides are reported to number 47 after two days of fighting. The status of the prisoners is as of yet unknown.
The fight in Aleppo follows the evacuation of the city's besieged citizens as per agreement between Syrian President Bashar Assad and the UN.
