EU publishes new settlement guidelines despite Israeli objections

The European Union on Friday published new guidelines restricting interaction with Israeli entities beyond the pre-1967 lines despite Israeli efforts to freeze the publication of the directives.
The guidelines, which prohibit the funding, cooperation, and the granting of scholarships, grants and prizes to Israeli settlements beyond the Green Line, were published in the EU's Official Journal.
