Egypt's Supreme Electoral Commission extended to 11 p.m. voting in the country's referendum on a new constitution due to what it called a "high turnout," Egypt's Al Ahram reported.

The commission earlier Saturday already had extended the voting period from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
