Foreign Ministry confirms death of one Israeli backpacker in Nepal blizzard

The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday night confirmed the death one Israeli tourist in a deadly snowstorm that hit the Himalayan mountain range in Nepal. The ministry has notified the family of the backpacker.
Searches for additional casualties were set to resume in the morning (Nepal time), according to the ministry.
The ministry along with the Israeli Embassy in Nepal were cooperating on an emergency basis in order to handle the situation.
