Over 100 forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad have been killed during attempts to recapture a town in the Aleppo province, AFP cited a human rights group as reporting on Friday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said at least 150 regime forces were killed in Khan al-Assal and at least 10 people had died in shelling from Assad supporters in the northwestern province of Iblid.
