Iran's Khamenei says nuclear talks show US enmity

Iran's Supreme Leader AyatollahAli Khamenei said on Thursday nuclear negotiations with majorpowers had revealed U.S. "enmity" towards the Islamic state, theofficial IRNA news agency reported, hours before the resumptionof talks in Geneva.

"We had announced previously that on certain issues, if wefeel it is expedient, we would negotiate with the Satan (theUnited States) to deter its evil," Khamenei told a gathering.

"The nuclear talks showed the enmity of America againstIran, Iranians, Islam and Muslims," he said.
