Israel will be exhibiting a painting by world-famous Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli, after Italy decided to revoke its ban on the loan over fears of war in Syria, the Israeli media reported Monday.

The painting, "The Annunciation of San Martino alla Scala", was lent to the Israel Museum in Jerusalem by the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, as a gift from Italy to mark Israel's 65th anniversary.  It will go on show on Tuesday.
