Israel tweets solidarity with injured in London train terror

Israel sounded its support of Britain on Twitter in the aftermath of Friday morning's surprising incident which has been labeled as a terror attack.

Israel reached out in solidarity with the 18 injured in the west London underground train terror attack on Friday from The State of Israel's official Twitter account.

Israeli officials, ministers and dignitaries were also quick to convey their support on social media.

A similar tweet was posted by Israel's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Mark Regev, expressing solidarity with the people of London. "Our thoughts are with #ParsonsGreen victims & their families at this difficult time," he wrote.

Internal Security Minister GIlad Erdan denounced the attack in his tweet. "Today terrorists sent message of hate. Israel & UK stand together against #terror," he wrote.

Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely condemned the attack as well, saying "Israel condemns the #terror attack in London. We stand with you and our prayers for a quick recovery go out to the injured."

A blast went off on a train in Parsons Green station in west London on Friday morning, and it was later reported that the blast was heard as a result of a detonated bomb that had been placed on the train in what British police later confirmed was a "terrorist incident."
London Ambulance service stated that they have taken 18 patients to number of London hospitals, none thought to be in serious or life-threatening condition.
