Israeli Samuel takes fourth at rowing World Cup in Aiguebelette, France

Israel’s Moran Samuel just missed out on a medal in the para-rowing World Cup in Aiguebelette, France, over the weekend, finishing the arms-shoulders single scull final in fourth place.
Samuel, who also plays wheelchair basketball, set a new personal best time of 5:35.49 minutes, coming in five seconds behind Russia’s Natalia Bolshakova.
“It was a high quality final and I am now looking ahead to August’s World Championships,” said Samuel.
Israeli duo Yuliya Chernoy and Reuven Magnagey ended the TA mixed double sculls final in fifth place on Saturday.
