Israeli wins gold in Gymnastics European Championships

Israeli gymnast Alexander Shatilov won the gold medal in the final exercise ground Gymnastics European Championships held in Moscow, Russia on Saturday, Army Radio reported.

Shatilov received a score of 15.333.

British gymnast Max Whitlock came in joint first to share Shatilov's title.

Shatilov is the first Israeli to ever win the European Championship.
