Jerusalem to host annual ‘Good Deeds Day’

The Jerusalem Municipality will host its fourth annual “Good Deeds Day” Tuesday as part of a national initiative that encourages giving, volunteerism and community engagement throughout the capital.
This year, some 28,000 volunteers are expected to devote the day to 400 planned projects that will assist the most vulnerable members of their communities, including those with special needs, the elderly and economically disadvantaged. Projects will include renovations, cleaning, painting, upgrading buildings, construction of community gardens, and more.
The event will be held between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the city. For more information, visit the Jerusalem Municipality’s website at jerusalem.muni.il.
