Knesset to take up unity deal within 48 hours

The Knesset will take up the national unity agreement struck between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Kadima head Shaul Mofaz overnight, within 48 hours, Israel Radio reported.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Shaul Mofaz approved a last-minute deal overnight Monday to form a national unity government that would postpone early elections.
