Mortar shell fired from Gaza lands in Eshkol Regional Council area; none hurt

A mortar shell fired from the Gaza Strip toward southern Israel is believed to have landed in the Eshkol Regional Council area overnight Saturday, the IDF Spokesman's Office stated.

A Code Red rocket alert siren was sounded in the area.

No injuries or damage were reported in the attack.
