A mosque was vandalized in Baka al-Gharbiya in the Wadi Ara region of central Israel overnight Saturday in an apparent price tag attack.

Anti-Muslim slogans were spray-painted on the walls of the mosque.

According to Channel 10, police are investigating the possibility that extreme right-wing activists carried out the act in response to protests by Israeli-Arabs against the Prawer-Begin bill, intended to regulate Beduin land claims in the Negev.
