Municipality approves renewal plan for colonial sections of Jerusalem

The Jerusalem Municipality’s Regional Planning Committee approved on Sunday a master plan to renew and preserve colonial sections of the capital, including the German Colony, Greek Colony, Talbiya and Katamon.
According to the municipality, the plan will “create an updated planning framework for development and urban renewal in the areas, while preserving their cultural and historical values.”
The program was initiated by the city’s Planning Department in coordination with the community councils representing each of the areas.
