New Negev army training complex to be named after Ariel Sharon
IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz recommended on Sunday to name the new army training complex being built in the Negev after former prime minister and Maj.-Gen. (ret.) Ariel Sharon, who passed away on Saturday.
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon approved the chief of staff's recommendation, the IDF spokesman said.
