Obama calls for 'immediate cease-fire' in phone call with Netanyahu

US President Barack Obama called for an "immediate cease-fire" in a phone call to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Sunday night.

Obama added that any lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict must ensure the disarmament of militant groups and the demilitarization of Gaza.
