President Rivlin visits families of two IDF soldiers killed in Hezbollah attack

President Reuven Rivlin on Friday visited the families of the two IDF soldiers who were killed in Wednesday's Hezbollah attack on Israel's northern border with Lebanon.
Rivlin paid his condolences to the family of Staff-Sgt. Dor Chaim Nini in Shtulim, near Ashdod, along with the relatives of Maj. Yochai Kalangel in the West Bank settlement of Elazar.
“I have not come to offer you comfort.  I know there is no such thing.  The pain will remain long after the week of mourning, but I assure you we will not forget – not me, not the IDF, nor the people of Israel – what a hero Dor was,” the president told the Nini family.
Afterward, with the Kalangel family, he commemorated Yochai saying, “We could not ask for a more appropriate commander for our sons and daughters in the Israel Defense Forces.  We will remember him, and carry with us his legacy.”
