Prisoners announce end to hunger strike

Palestinian prisoners announced an end to their hunger strike. The strike, which lasted 63 days, was in protest of their arrests.

The hunger strike ended when the prisoners' representatives in Ramallah reached an agreement with Israel Prisons Service, Israel Radio reported.

A copy of the agreement will eventually be made public.
