Rabbi Elyashiv, 102, in critical condition

Family members of the leading figure in Lithuanian haredi Jewry,Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, were told his life was in danger and advised to come to his side at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem overnight Monday.

The 102-year-old rabbi was listed in critical condition.

He has been hospitalized for congestive heart failure several times over the past year.
