Two settlers attacked a taxi driver in east Jerusalem on Tuesday, the driver told Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.

Naim Yousef Elayan, 62, told Ma’an that the young men flagged him down Gilo settlement and asked him to take them to Pisgat Zeev at around 3 a.m.

“They told me that they want to pick up their friend and when they found out I was Palestinian, they attacked me with a 20-centimeter knife. They pointed the knife toward my neck but I held it with my hand and started screaming. They fled,” Ma'an reported the driver as saying.
