Report: UN appeals for 6-hour cease-fire to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza

The United Nations has appealed to Israel to halt its military campaign for six hours so as to allow its aid workers to bring humanitarian supplies into the Gaza Strip, Channel 2 reported on Wednesday.

Israeli officials are leaning toward accepting the UN's request, according to the report.
