Supreme Court to hold hearing on campaign ad censorship

The Supreme Court on Monday was set to hold an expedited hearing on three petitions against the Central Election Committee's decision to censor campaign commercials of the Strong Israel and Balad parties.
One petition was filed by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), and the other two were filed by the two parties on their own behalf.
Supreme Court President Asher Grunis,  Deputy President Miriam Naor, and Justice Edna Arbel were set to preside over the proceedings.
