Three Palestinians injured near Gaza border by IDF fire

Three Palestinians were injured near the Gaza border on Monday after being shot by IDF fire, the Ma'an news agency reported, citing a Gaza-based medical official.
A Gazan Health Ministry spokesman said two teens were injured east of Khan Younis, a town in southern Gaza, and were taken to a hospital for medical care. Eye witnesses reported that a third person was shot after Israeli forces opened fire during a protest honoring Land Day.
The event in the coastal enclave follows a day of protests, as Palestinians marked the 39th anniversary of Land Day, which commemorates the deaths of six Galilee Arabs in 1976 riots over a government decision to confiscate land.
