Trump picks lawyer Ty Cobb to serve as White House special counsel

WASHINGTON, July 15 - US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that lawyer Ty Cobb would serve as special counsel at the White House.

Cobb has been under consideration to serve in the White House counsel's office in a role that would allow him to respond to investigators and congressional inquiries regarding the Russia-related investigations.
