US says kills up to 116 civilians in strikes outside war zones

WASHINGTON- President Barack Obama's government said on Friday it mistakenly killed up to 116 civilians in strikes in countries where America is not at war, a major disclosure likely to inflame debate about targeted killings and use of drones.

The total, released by the US director of national intelligence, is far lower than estimates by non-governmental organizations. in Bangladesh in recent months.
