Ya'alon: Incidents like alleged blast delay Iran nukes

January 28, 2013 10:52

Commenting on the reports of an explosion at the Fordow Iranian nuclear facility, Strategic Affairs Minister and Vice Premier Moshe Ya'alon said Monday that "every incident like this delays Iran's nuclear program."

In an interview with Army Radio, Ya'alon refused to comment specifically on reports of a mysterious explosion at Fordow, and said that he had only
"read about it in the newspaper."

However, he said, "In the past we heard about worms and viruses and explosions" and they serve to delay Tehran's alleged drive for nuclear weapons.
