Israeli businessman Asaf Azulay has been appointed co-CEO of the BBDO Issue Management department, part of the largest advertising firm in the country, and one of the largest in the world.
Thirty-year-old Azulay has been working with the IM department of BBDO for three years, and previously served as the vice president for client management.
Azulay also previously held the position of media consultant of Minister of Trade, Industry and National Infrastructures Binyamin Ben-Eliezer for five years, and as a consultant to MK Yohanan Plesner. Azulay will replace Amit Livni, who filled the role of BBDO IM’s CEO during the past year.
“BBDO IM is one of the central growth engines of the Gitam/BBDO Group, and we are confident that together with its excellent employees, Asaf Azulay will continue to lead it to new heights,” the company said in a statement.
