Jerusalem placed on high alert amid terror threat

Police, firefighters, paramedics in state of increased preparedness as result of intelligence reports of terror threat to capital.

Emergency services were in Jerusalem were placed on high alert on Tuesday due to intelligence reports of a terror threat to the capital.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were all in a state of increased preparedness as a result of the alert.
In previous instances in which the capital has been put on high alert, police have carried out security checks on vehicles entering Jerusalem.
Police gave no further details on Tuesday of what exact intelligence information led to the raising of the alert level.
