Limmud reaches the Volga

Three day conference expected to attract several hundred participants.

Limmud FSU founder Chaim Chesler, Tatarstan’s Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Gorelik, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar and Tatarstan’s Grand Mufti Kamil Semigullin participated in Limmud FSU in Kazan, the capital of the Tatarstan Republic on the Volga River, on Friday.
The three-day conference was expected to attract several hundred participants who will hear some 100 presentations, workshops, debates and discussions, history and cultural sessions and artistic performances, on a wide range of
Jewish topics and on the State of Israel.
