The civil administration, with the help of hundreds of Border Police
officers, demolished three homes at the Migron outpost in the West Bank
early Monday morning.
In so doing they made good on a pledge by the state to the High Court of
Justice that the three structures populated by families, including one
woman who had just given birth, would be taken down in September. The
High Court of Justice has declared that the outpost is illegally built
on private Palestinian land. Outpost residents have argued that the
property was either abandoned or purchased from Palestinians.
