US-Israel relations: Top 10 moments of 2012 Close military cooperation and tense diplomatic ties epitomized the tricky relationship between the United States and its closest ally in the Middle East. While the two states conducted their largest bilateral drill, Netanyahu and Obama haggled over red lines on Iran, and Israel became a wedge issue in the presidential elections.
Israel’s most played songs of 2012Eyal Golan and Shlomo Artzi cemented their place as Israel's beloved music-makers, while the usual names, including Adele and Flo Rida, made the same splash on the Israeli airwaves as abroad.
