Israel Nurses Association sanctions continue, but some Clalit Health Services' nurses return to work in "show of goodwill."

Sanctions by the Israel Nurses Association are set to continue on Sunday – their 14th day – but as a “show of goodwill,” Clalit Health Services’ nurses will work normally in all the health fund’s community clinics.National Labor Court President Nili Arad asked the two sides – the Treasury and the nurses’ union – to report back to her on Sunday at 7 p.m., and if significant progress is not made by then, she would consider issuing restraining orders on Monday.Meanwhile, students at all of the nursing schools in the country will hold a two-hour strike at 10 a.m. on Sunday, and a demonstration of support will be held at the University of Haifa.Over 28,000 nurses around the country are fighting for an improved wage contract when their collective agreement expires at the end of December. There are currently about 4,000 nursing students around the country.In Jerusalem Sunday, negotiations between the nurses and the Treasury will continue, Israel Radio reported.
