Female rapper stabbed in Tel Aviv

Female rapper Hila Nisimov, also known as Shorty, was stabbed
repeatedly and injured by a woman believed to be her ex-girlfriend on
Tel Aviv's Rehov Rothschild Street early on Sunday morning.
Nisimov, 27, was rushed by paramedics to the Ichilov Medical Center in
Tel Aviv with stab wounds to her chest and hand, and is said to be in
moderate condition.
Her alleged attacker, named by police as 24-year-old Natalie Benisti,
was arrested and brought to a Tel Aviv Magistrate on Sunday for a
remand hearing.
"We believe there may have been a romantic connection in the past,"
police said, adding that the investigation was in its initial phases.
Police suspect Benisti launched the attack after Nisimov exited a
nightclub. Passers-by contacted emergency services.
