A small Ohio town had an unexpected visitor grace their local Mexican fast-food branch, giving ordinary Americans an inside look into the diet of the woman who might become the leader of the free world come 2016.According to The New York Times, on Monday afternoon, the security camera of the local Chipotle in Maumee, Ohio, caught returning presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton casually ordering a chicken burrito bowl - not technically a burrito- as well as a soda and a blackberry IZZE drink.Apart from one piqued diner, who began to snap pictures of the blonde woman wearing dark sunglasses and a pink top, nobody, including the branch manager, Charles Wright, took notice of Mrs. Clinton as she walked off with her tray with, her veteran aide Huma Abedin by her side.
“She just was another lady,” said Write, flabbergasted by the former first lady, New York senator and secretary of state's presence in his eatery. His employees were “kicking themselves right now,” the branch manager went on, but admitted that “that’s awesome that she was in here,” even though he himself is a registered Republican and had no intention of voting for Mrs. Clinton, who is on her way to Iowa for the first leg of her presidential campaign.Clinton announced her bid for the oval office in a message broadcast over social media outlets, and let American voters know "I'm hitting the road to earn your vote."The seasoned politician, 67, appears to be seeking a ride on the populist wave generated by President Barack Obama in his own 2008 bid, employing galvanizing slogans and mottoes such as "Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion."Whether intended or not, her stop in Chipotle and her fondness for burrito bowls, a favorite of the franchise's menu, appears to be in line with her political message.
