America's National Public Radio fired analyst Juan Williams on Wednesday night over comments he made about Muslims on "The O'Reilly Factor."On Fox News host Bill O'Reilly's Monday night show, Williams said: "I'm not a bigot...but when I get on the plans, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous."RELATED:CNN's Rick Sanchez fired after comments on JewsThe firing was announced on Twitter by NPR media reported David Folkenflik.NPR released a statement saying that Willams' remarks were "inconsistent with our editorial standards and preactices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR."Williams had worked at NPR for over a decade, but in 2009, he was asked not to identify as an "NPR News Political Analyst" during his frequent segments on Fox News, because they drew so many complaints from NPR listeners.
