1. Happy birthday, Harel
In celebration of his 50th birthday, Fox-Wizel Ltd. CFO Harel Weisel invited his friends to the Zappa Club in Tel Aviv last Saturday night to enjoy dinner, lots of alcohol and a private concert with his favorite singer, Shlomo Artzi. His many friends were excited to don fancy clothing and come wish Weisel a happy birthday and much success. Attending were Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and his wife Beverly, Rakefet Russak-Aminoach and her husband Reem Aminoach, Lilach Asher-Topilsky, Ofra and Yisrael Reif, Yael Almog and Benzi Ziller, Guy and Michal Baram and Nadav Greenspon.
2. LeumiTech
Last Thursday, Society Club – Leumi- Tech’s exclusive community for CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs – invited 100 members and their spouses to spend the night at the Elma Hotel in Zichron Yaakov.
LeumiTech CEO Yifat Oron welcomed all the guests to the Society Club’s formal dinner. Later in the evening, guests were treated to a fascinating and entertaining talk by Dr. Haim Shapira. Attending the event were Gigi Levy-Weiss, Roy Oron, Eden Shochat, Shelly Hod Moyal, Orit Hashay and dozens of other executives from startups who attended in order to meet other people like themselves.
3. Beit Hatfutsot
Irit Admoni Perlman, director of Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot, joined together with Gallabia designers Etti Zayeg and Merav Hadari, to create a morning full of Israeli fashion. The event was held around the pool at Mati Caraso’s house at Moshav Bnei Zion. Models showing off Gallabia’s new summer collection walked the catwalk in front of all the guests. The fashion show was sponsored by Discount Private Banking. Each guest paid NIS 200 to attend the event, and all proceeds went toward bringing immigrants and soldiers from the periphery to visit at Beit Hatfutsot.
4. Lubinsky
The Lubinsky Group recently celebrated its 80th anniversary at their business center in Sorek. The president of the group, Yitzhak Manor, his wife Ruth Manor, chairman Dori Manor, CEO Avi Tzur, and marketing manager Keren Schiff attended the event with guests, including PSA vice president Jean-Christophe Quémard, businessman Pini Cohen, CEO Bank Mizrahi Eldad Fresher, attorneys Amir Halevy and Eli Zohar. In addition, guests hailing from the automotive industry included Israel Motor Vehicles Importers Association president Yaki Enoch; general manager of the Israel Motor Vehicles Importers Association Yehuda Roded; auto value expert Levy Yitzchak; chairman and CEO at Automotive Equipment and Vehicles Zvi Neta; and Union Motors CEO Ran Danai.
5. Bamba
Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon recently attended the cornerstone laying ceremony for Osem’s new Bamba factory in Kiryat Gat. Also attending the festivities were Osem group chairman Dan Propper, Gad Propper, Osem CEO Itzik Tzaig, and Kiryat Gat Mayor Aviram Dahari. Tzaig shared with the guests his vision for the factory, which will include a visitor’s center and will hopefully attract families that have never been in Kiryat Gat before.
